“The Blind is a song about why people can’t see a truth that is right in front of them. The idea of the song is asking the simple questions of why the caged bird sings and why do we tolerate abuses in whatever lane of life we are in. While it has heartbreak at the heart of it - we wanted it to empower people to take a deeper look at themselves, trust their instincts, and remove themselves from anything that isn’t serving them, whatever that may be.”

Like so many others, this came like a bolt out of the blue and, even though it's well before payday, I had to have this astonishing album on vinyl to prove it exists. The feel of the tunes makes me feel like the Impressions do, Curtis Mayfield, the big spaces and instinctive horns and stuff drifting in and out. Great grooves and I can see lots of ghosts nodding along to this with big smiles on their faces. At last! Anthony Cottrell
